City to Begin Removal of Outdoor Furnishings from Jaycee Park
The City of Cape Coral will begin removing items from Jaycee Park early next week as part of ongoing park improvements. The park will remain open to the public while items are relocated to ensure their safety and preservation.
Items scheduled for removal include:
- memorial benches
- trash cans
- picnic tables
- signs
The City has made arrangements with the contacts for the memorial benches regarding the options available for these benches. We will be handling these benches in accordance with those wishes.
Trash cans, picnic tables, and signs will also be organized and safely stored until City Staff can determine their future use.
The City appreciates the public's understanding and cooperation as we work to enhance Jaycee Park for future enjoyment.
