District 7
Legislative Executive Assistant: Lisa Williams - 239-574-0437
Rachel Kaduk is a long-time Cape Coral resident. She now serves the same district she grew up in – District 7. She moved to Southwest Florida when she was 12 years old, attended Lee County Public Schools, Diplomat Middle School and graduated from Mariner High School. She is married to her husband, Brandon, and Mom to Audrey (14) who is in the Oasis Charter School System.
Rachel Kaduk joined Sanibel Captiva Community Bank in March 2020 after she was furloughed from her job as business development manager at Seminole Casino due to the COVID-19 crisis. She was hired as an interim Loan Operations Specialist to assist with the thousands of Small Business Administration’s Payroll Protection Program loans (PPP) the Bank was processing at the time. Rachel was instrumental in administering the PPP program resulting in the Bank securing over 1,100 loans for businesses, independent contractors and nonprofits totaling close to $110 million, helping thousands of Southwest Floridians keep their jobs.
Three months after joining the Bank she earned a position as a Residential Loan Coordinator responsible for reviewing loan applications and preparing mortgage files for delivery to underwriting. Three months after earning her role as Residential Loan Coordinator she was given the opportunity to add business development to her role. With her dogged work ethic and leadership skills, her loan production team became the second highest-producing residential lending team at the Bank closing $60 million in residential loans in 2022 and her team is on track to surpass that milestone this year. This April, four short years after joining the Bank Rachel’s tenacity and hard work earned her a well-deserved promotion to Loan Officer at our largest branch in Southwest Florida.
Before joining SanCap Bank she had an extensive career in the marketing, advertising, and broadcast media industries. She began her broadcast career in Washington, D.C. with Centennial Broadcasting as a promotions assistant and within a few years she was promoted to traffic manager. In 2012, Renda Broadcasting recruited her to come back to Southwest Florida to fill a traffic manager position and within a year she was promoted to an Account Manager.
Rachel exhibits that same passion for helping her community on a personal level. She is heavily involved in the community and has become known (and celebrated) for her philanthropic work. In the last six years, Rachel has dedicated countless hours to several nonprofit organizations serving Southwest Florida. Below is a snapshot of her extensive community involvement:
