Mission Statement
The Northwest Cape is generally bound on the west by the protected mangrove To plan for and create a vision that provides a “regulatory framework” consisting of land plans, and development scenarios that provide built-out options that maximize economic opportunity while protecting and enhancing the existing urban fabric with sound recreational and environmental opportunities.
The project team's vision will follow market-driven development alternatives, neighborhood strengthening, infrastructure planning, and design principles and practices, set within an economically ready context.
Planning Goals
NW Cape Planning and Visioning Project Goal
These neighborhoods are to be connected to livable, economically-feasible development blueprints for neighborhoods connected to activity centers through active/passive recreation and multi-use opportunities. To the systems-rich regional context alternative, Seven Island development plans will be designed in anticipation of infrastructure, market, and environmental conditions. The vision rests on a high-quality, economic and compatible project that advances public water access, neighborhood opportunities, city aspirations, and return on investment.
