First Public Parking Garage Opens!
On October 3, 2025, Cape Coral celebrated the ribbon-cutting for its first public parking garage. The two-story facility provides 125 public spaces through a partnership between the South Cape Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and Flaherty & Collins Properties.
Parking is available to the public with one free hour, followed by $2 for the second hour and $1 for each additional hour (up to $20). Special event parking costs $15. City officials note that the garage supports local businesses and encourages visitors to explore downtown Cape Coral.
