Updating of Water Meters Begins July 16

Beginning July 16, the City will initiate a meter exchange program to update older water meters throughout Cape Coral. Work will be performed by Vanguard Utility Services, Inc. This program is limited to replacing 1” and 5/8” meters, common on single family homes, duplexes and small businesses. A representative from Vanguard Utility Services will notify customers prior to starting work. If no one is available at the home or business, a green tag will be left on the door indicating the meter will be exchanged. The work performed will be a standard meter exchange. Your home or business should not be without water for more than an hour. If you have any questions, please call the City of Cape Coral Customer Billing Services Division at 239-574-7722.

Work will begin in the area highlighted in red on the map. This area is south of Pine Island Rd. down to just south of Hancock (Shamrock Lakes area) bounded east by Del Prado Blvd. and west by Cultural Park Blvd..

Notices will be included in the utility bills.
