August 28, 2008: Site selection experts will meet with Cape Coral business leaders on Sept. 23, 2008 at a workshop to discuss the strengths and weaknesses facing Cape Coral from a site selection standpoint. Ron Starner and Michael C. Rareshide are presenters.

April 25, 2008: Beginning July 1, Cape Coral employers and workers will have a new local outlet for employee recruitment, job placement assistance and business training.

February 1, 2008: The City of Cape Coral has launched an initiative to provide office and classroom space to Business Industry Services (BIS).
